Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By using our sea shipping logistics services, you signify your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
I. Scope of Service Application
- These service terms apply to all customers who choose AltoNex's sea shipping logistics services to transport goods.
- The scope of services covers the transportation from the goods' receiving location to the destination, customs clearance assistance, and related logistics consultation services.
II. Customer Obligations
- Provide Accurate Information: Customers are required to provide true, accurate, and complete goods information at the time of order placement, including but not limited to the name, quantity, weight, volume, value, shipping address, and receiving address of the goods. The customer shall bear all consequences arising from incorrect or missing information.
- Packaging Requirements: The customer shall ensure that the goods are packaged in compliance with transportation safety standards and can withstand normal handling, loading and unloading, and climate changes during transportation. We shall not be liable for any damage to the goods caused by improper packaging.
- Comply with Laws and Regulations: The customer warrants that the consigned goods do not involve any illegal or 违规 activities and comply with the laws, regulations, and transportation requirements of the country or region of origin and destination. The customer shall bear all legal liabilities and economic losses arising from illegal goods.
III. AltoNex Obligations
- Timely Transportation: We will arrange the transportation of goods in accordance with the agreed time and method and make every effort to ensure that the goods are delivered to the destination within the estimated transportation time of 20 - 35 days. In case of unforeseen circumstances causing delays, we will promptly notify the customer and explain the reasons.
- Proper Custody: During the transportation process, we will take reasonable measures to properly keep the goods and prevent the goods from being damaged, lost, or stolen. If the goods are damaged or lost due to our fault, we will compensate in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and insurance clauses.
- Information Communication: We will promptly feedback the transportation status of the goods to the customer, including the departure time, transit information, and estimated arrival time of the goods. The customer can query the transportation progress of the goods at any time through the channels provided by us.
IV. Fee Payment
- The customer shall pay the estimated basic freight and possible additional fees at the time of order confirmation. The final fee shall be subject to the actual calculation at the time of shipment, with any overpayment refunded and any underpayment collected.
- If the customer fails to pay the freight and related fees on time, we have the right to suspend the transportation service until the fees are settled. If the payment is still not made beyond the specified time limit, we have the right to dispose of the goods to offset the fees.
V. Limitation of Liability
- For any delays, damages, or losses of goods caused by force majeure factors (such as natural disasters, wars, strikes, customs policy adjustments, etc.), we shall not be liable, but we will do our best to assist the customer in reducing losses.
- Our liability for compensation is limited to the actual value of the goods and shall not exceed the compensation limit specified in relevant laws, regulations, and insurance clauses.
VI. Insurance
- We recommend that customers purchase transportation insurance for their goods to reduce the risks during transportation. If the customer does not purchase insurance, the losses arising from the damage or loss of the goods will be handled in accordance with the above - mentioned liability limitation clauses.
- If the customer chooses to purchase insurance, we will assist the customer in handling the relevant procedures, but we shall not bear any legal liability during the insurance claim process.
VII. Changes and Cancellations
- If the customer needs to change the order information (such as shipping address, receiving address, goods information, etc.), they should notify us in a timely manner before the goods are shipped. The additional fees arising from the changes shall be borne by the customer.
- Before the goods are shipped, the customer can apply to cancel the order, but they need to pay the relevant fees already incurred. Generally, orders are not allowed to be cancelled after the goods are shipped.
VIII. Dispute Resolution
- If a dispute arises between the two parties during the service process, it shall first be resolved through friendly consultations. If the consultations fail, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with the people's court having jurisdiction.
- The interpretation, implementation, and dispute resolution of these terms and conditions shall be governed byUK.
IX. Amendment of Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions in a timely manner according to business development, changes in laws and regulations, or market conditions. The amended terms will be published on our website and shall come into effect as of the date of publication. If the customer continues to use our services after the terms are amended, it shall be deemed that the customer has accepted the new terms and conditions.
